Multi-generational Family Business
We are 4th generation retailers of the award-winning business Parsons Gifts. For 143 years, our family operated the independent retail store in our community of North Georgia. For over 25 years, we owned and operated multiple locations, bringing the best retail practices to our team.
Throughout our years in business, we noticed two problems. First, many retailers in our community struggled with inventory, staff management, or rebranding through the years. The second was that we didn’t have reliable computer software to see and manage our business easily. This is where Retail Clarity was born.
Solving Our Problems with Retail and Inventory
Retail Clarity began with the creation of RC Analytix, a data software that provides business intelligence based on your sales, inventory, purchasing, and customer data. With this high-performing and cutting-edge technology, we managed and maintained multiple store locations, millions of dollars in inventory, and an excellent staff retention rate.
Along the way, we’ve learned what it means to run a successful family business. With a staff retention rate of 80% and many employees staying on for 30+ years, we built a customer loyalty program of 40,000 customers with over 6,000 Facebook followers. Our store maintained a 50% margin in boutique, gifts, and holiday inventory with a high average dollar sale and strong inventory turn rate.

Gary Willis is a 4th generation retailer, managing a successful retail company for over 25 years. His enterprise has encompassed multiple locations, 100’s of employees, 1000’s of vendors, and 100,000’s SKUs. His experience, along with his team, provides you the tools you need to run a successful business and life.

Business Coach
Cris Willis
Cris is a business coach for independent retailers. With 25 years of experience owning and operating a family business, she now guides retail owners to make smarter decisions regarding inventory management, marketing, sales training, product assortment, and more. When not at work, she loves to travel the country with her husband in their motorhome.
